
Dr. Angelyn M. Anderson is a scholar, strategist, cultural preservationist, and advocate for restorative leadership and legacy-driven change. With a mission to preserve cultural heritage and foster social equity in communities impacted by gentrification, her work lives at the intersection of equity, cultural memory, community transformation, and holistic wellness. Through leadership development, policy advocacy, and community empowerment, she ensures that social justice remains at the heart of sustainable development.
Grounded in research and lived experience, Dr. Anderson’s doctoral dissertation, The Effects of Gentrification on Historic and Cultural Preservation Within the African American Community, informs her commitment to protecting Black spaces, histories, and futures. Her calling is rooted in addressing displacement, reclaiming cultural narratives, and building sustainable, equitable systems for thriving communities.
